Are There Clinical Trials For a Hearing Loss Cure?

With so many types of hearing loss and so many potential causes, it’s hard to come up with even a single hearing loss cure. Sometimes a person will lose their hearing for no apparent reason at all and may never know it until a professional examination shows that they are suffering from loss of hearing. Other times, people suffer loss of hearing but know exactly what is happening to them-they just need to have ears cleaned or replaced. These hearing devices are actually made from silicone, which has the effect of both implanting hair cells directly into the ear (which is virtually undetectable) and of providing the necessary acoustic energy to stimulate the hair cells into becoming active.
